Tumyaraa headerSharing an opportunity for students through APU called Tumyaraa.

Tumyaraa is Alaska Pacific University’s (APU) college readiness program empowering rural high school students to use culture as a bridge to college success.

The week-long intensives take place during the spring and fall; they are also an excellent opportunity for high school students to get comfortable with the college experience in Alaska and campus life early on. This program is intended for Indigenous high schoolers enrolled in grades 10 and 11. Enrollment is now open for incoming high school sophomores.

You can contact Tumyaraa program staff directly: Will Elliott, Project Director: [email protected], 907-957-2347 Barbara Amos, Alaska Native & Rural Student Services Coordinator: [email protected], 907-564-8393
